Story Behind The Name

My favorite verse is Isaiah 53:5 and it says, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our sins; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed."

Jesus died for us.
We're terrible people, even the best of us. But he still loves us.

Because of that, we are free to stand up and take charge of our lives and live to the fullest. And not only will he be there for us and love us unconditionally, if we continue to follow him and grow our relationship with him, he promises an eternity in paradise. Not just standing around worshiping with harps forever, but literal, eternal paradise. And the worship will definitely be a whole lot more exuberant than that.
Isaiah 40:31- "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
